Whats is motivation? It’s simple I will tell you straight from the dictionary. Motivation is the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way. So therefore it is something, which means can be anything that makes you do something in a different way. What makes you want to go to the gym everyday , go to work every morning, eat healthy meals six times a day or run that marathon. To me it all comes down to some sort of motivation, some instance, switch or moment in your life that causes you to want to make a change. That change is your motivation, the cause to your effect.

For me personally Arnold Schwarzenegger was definitely one of the biggest motivations of my life back in the day and now. He has inspired me and billions of others with his workouts, quotes, achievements and success. I believe in a lot of his training methods and his thought process but that is me. For you motivation may be completely different or maybe you don’t know where to find yours. Here is some ways to help you find what you are looking for or at least point you in the right direction. Remember for motivation to work that means that you have to want it. It’s not something you should feel confused about, thinking of or still deciding. You should be set 100% that this is what you are trying to accomplish.

You have to believe in what you are doing and have a reason for doing it! A drive to push yourself to that next level! As Arnold said whether if you want to impress a girl or be the next Mr. Olympia, there has to be something there to motivate you. A force that gets you inspired everyday to wake up and take your goals farther then the day prior. A fire starter I would call it, to get your mind burning with the desire to do whatever it is necessary to achieve those results abiding by the law off course.12144822_762441593881344_3038383097416671618_n

Another thing I believe in is learning how to self motivate yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself, how can you expect anybody else too? What you feel inside will reflect on your outside aura. People will be able to see through all the bull, pardon my french. You have to raise the bar of how you think of yourself. Think of what you want to become and how you want to be seen. Then believe it! Believe it as if it was real, believe it as it was now and put the work in to become what you want to achieve!

Once you train your mind to believe what you want is a reality, the sooner you can convince yourself what you need to do to achieve that goal. It may sound funny but talk to yourself in the mirror, build your confidence, your charisma so that you can think the way you need to and feel the way you want. Listen to that song that will get you in the right state of mind, play that motivational speech that will put your head into to the zone or whatever you need to do. Think about it, if you feel your a loser do you think you will be able to make a speech on how to be a winner and become successful? I don’t think so and if you said yes, then I hope your as rich as the homeless person who lives outside of the White House. (sarcasm)

In conclusion find something that inspires you to be successful. Put up posters, read books, stick up quotes, write on notepads, print out pictures, play videos and listen to speeches. Be consistent, be responsible and follow through with what needs to be done. Don’t blame others, learn from your mistakes and use constructive criticism to improve where you lapse. Do whatever it takes to help you get focused and into game mode to push through every obstacle in your path to reach that finish line!
